Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Analyst for one of our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of cyber security fundamentals, proficiency in risk and vulnerability management, and a strong understanding of security event analysis and triaging in SaaS and Cloud production environments.  
 

Responsibilities:

 
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses.
  • Analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
  • Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and mitigate security breaches.
  • Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to IT teams for security implementation and remediation.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Conduct security awareness training and workshops for employees.
  • Monitor and manage security systems and tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of security processes, procedures, and incident responses.
  • Participate in the development and testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on security status and incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating and cleaning security-related data sets.
  • Stay informed about emerging security technologies and methodologies.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies:
    • Vulnerability Scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys, Tenable)
    • Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) (e.g., Snort, Suricata)
    • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Systems (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar)
    • Firewalls and Network Security (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
    • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
 

Additional Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
