Job Title: IT Sales Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Sales Account Manager for an excellent opportunity with a leading IT reseller in Alberta. Applicants must have proven experience specifically within an IT reseller account manager / business development role and have been accountable for the full sales cycle, from sourcing and lead generation through to closing the sale and then ongoing account management.Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and actionable recommendations.
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and budgets to senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management on sales performance and market conditions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating and cleaning data sets.
- Stay current with the latest sales trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and strategies.
- Train and mentor the sales team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Manage and resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of leads and opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and closing of deals to achieve sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT sales management or a related role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing sales teams.
- Strong proficiency in sales analytics tools (e.g., CRM systems, Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
